Edit a deal

Article summary

This section explains how you can edit a deal in order to apply changes to the import parameters, as well as accessing information about the deal usage and the adjustments which have been made over time, via a history log.

  • On the Deal Listing page, click the three dots under the Actions column and select Edit.

The Edit Form page is divided into 3 sections. Click the links below for more information about each section:

Import Settings

This section can be edited only by the deal owner.

  • If you are not the deal owner, this message appears:
  • If you need to edit the deal, please contact your Account Manager (i.e. Admin) for more information.
Synched DealsNon-Synched Deals
1. Except for the Start Date and End Date fields defining the Period of Validity, these fields are automatically updated based on data from the exchange and cannot be edited.
2. To edit these fields, you need to make the changes from the exchange.
3. Click Update to confirm.

Deal Usage

Deal Usage provides the admin with an overview of all campaigns and flights associated with a deal. To access this section, you can:

  • Click the arrow to reveal deal information and click the hyperlink next to Deal Usage.

  1. Click the three dots under the Actions column and select Edit.
  2. Click Deal Usage on the left panel.

Under the Campaign & Flights column, click the hyperlink to be directed to the campaigns and related flights that are using this deal.

Clicking the arrow gives you access to the flight level of a specific campaign. Clicking the flight’s name will direct you to the flight history page.

  • If the list is exhaustive, you can filter by using the search box.
  • You can download the list of campaigns and flights by clicking the CSV button. This might be useful if the filtered view can’t contain all items on one page. You could also take benefit from this file to create filters that would better match your needs (i.e., different from those available in Samsung DSP).

History Log

This section keeps a track of the changes that have been made to set up the deal from its creation.

  1. On the Deal Listing page, click the deal’s name and (hyperlink).
  2. Click History Log on the left panel.

This section displays the date and time when values were edited and the user who performed these changes (i.e. Editor). Clicking the arrow will reveal details.

For synched deals, updates executed from the exchange API will display SSP as the editor.

  • You can download all the details regarding the changes made to this deal by clicking the Download Log button.
  • If you want to focus on specific actions performed by an editor, you can use the search box.
