  1. Once you have opened your .csv or .tsv file into Excel, select the column containing the Comma-Separated Values (or Tab-Separated Values).
  2. Under Data, click on Text to Columns. Make sure that Delimited is selected. Click on Next.
  3. Select Comma (for .csv file) or Tab (for .tsv file). Click on Next.
  4. Once you have confirmed by clicking on Finish, your Excel will display the data into separate columns.
