- Once you have opened your .csv or .tsv file into Excel, select the column containing the Comma-Separated Values (or Tab-Separated Values).
- Under Data, click on Text to Columns. Make sure that Delimited is selected. Click on Next.
- Select Comma (for .csv file) or Tab (for .tsv file). Click on Next.
- Once you have confirmed by clicking on Finish, your Excel will display the data into separate columns.
