  • Study Period: Samsung DSP enables you to build audiences based on a static study period, with pre-defined date ranges (7 days, 30 days, 90 days) or custom ranges. Enter the date range for the study period and click on Apply.

OR

  • Rolling Window: The Rolling window enables the creation of audiences based on a continuously refreshed dataset with respect to the current date, e.g., last 7 days, last 30 days, etc. The rolling window period can be up to a year, defined either in days (1-365) or weeks (1-52), and requires an end date. For the end date, any day between the current date and up to a year ahead may be selected.

  • Viewership threshold: The minimum amount of time a viewer should watch the content for the metrics to be considered.
    Samsung DSP will identify and account for TVs that have consumed content per viewing session (i.e., the time the TV is on) and not over the total duration set by the Study Period. This drop-down list includes values ranging from 1 minute to 60 minutes.

Use the Type drop-down list to specify the search results from which data source you want to build your audiences (i.e., Network or Program).

Data details

  • Data Source: Samsung TV Plus data is based on content consumption of various Samsung TV Plus channels on Samsung TVs. This data is directly obtained from the TV in a granular format and converted into aggregations while exposed in Audience Builder. You will be able to pull the audience exposed to a specific Samsung TV Plus network or a Samsung TV Plus program within the network. The content partners for Samsung TV Plus are continuously expanding.
  • Data Scope: The current scope of Samsung TV Plus data is based on Samsung TV Plus content partners the Samsung DSP’s team is contracted within a given region. The content partners for Samsung TV Plus are continuously expanding. Audience Builder currently supports Samsung TV Plus-based audience building in the US, Canada, Spain, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
  • Data Calculation: A list of Smart TVs is generated based on their exposure to the specified Samsung TV Plus Network or Program, viewership threshold within the selected study period, or rolling window.
  • Data Availability/delay: The Samsung TV Plus data is updated every 24 hours in Audience Builder. There can be a lag of 24 hours between Samsung TV Plus content being consumed on the TV and being available in Audience Builder.
