When setting up a campaign, you need to associate it with at least one flight for it to be considered valid.
Campaigns can be understood as containers that define the strategy flights should adhere to, applying tactics to ensure successful delivery and achieve the desired objective.
Unlike flights, which have a Save and Launch button to officially initiate them, campaigns do not possess this feature. Instead, campaigns are launched simultaneously with the flight. This approach was implemented to provide you with the convenience of launching campaigns seamlessly.
Upon launching a campaign, you will be automatically added to the followers list. See Follow a Campaign for further details. This feature allows you to receive timely notifications via the alert system whenever adjustments are required to enhance the campaign's performance. Requirements
In order to launch a campaign you need to:
- Create a flight by following the procedure described in Set up a flight.
- Set up a flight by following the procedure described in the Flight Setup section.
Considerations
Some considerations to take into account after you have launched a campaign:
- Changing end date may result in delivery disruption or spike in campaign spending.
- If you resume a campaign, changes may result in spike in campaign spending. We recommend creating a new campaign.
