Samsung DSP eases the monitoring process of your campaigns by integrating an alert system.
This enhancement saves you time from manually checking the campaign’s performance to better focus on tasks that really require your attention.
With this feature, you can act efficiently on campaigns that need optimization in a timely manner, ensuring an improvement of your return on investment.


Activation

If you are interested in receiving alerts for your campaigns, it’s quite simple.
All you need to do is following the campaigns you want to monitor.
See Follow a Campaign for more details.

Scope

The alert system implemented will take into consideration the following use cases:

The alerts/notifications are sent to your email address with a delay of 1-1.5 hour. This allows our Reporting and Insights system to analyze data first and notify you only if the situation was not resolved by itself.

CategoryUse Case
Impressions
  • The campaign has not delivered any impressions in the last 2 hours, although bid requests are eligible and bids have been placed.
  • The campaign delivered no impressions for 1–2 hours after its launch.
  • The number of campaign impressions has decreased by 80% in the past 24 hours when compared to the average daily impressions over the last 7 days.
  • The number of campaign impressions has increased by 80% in the past 24 hours when compared to the average daily impressions over the last 7 days.
  • The campaign delivery falls below 100%. As this is considered as under-delivery, an alert will be sent to the follower(s) of the corresponding campaign.
  • The campaign has started and generated its first impressions.
  • The campaign is underpacing (80% or less of the allocated budget is not spent as it should based on the campaign's timeline).
  • The campaign is overpacing (120% or more of the allocated budget is spent and will run out before reaching the campaign end date).
Bid Requests
  • The campaign has not placed any bids in the last 6 hours, although there are eligible bid requests.
Time-Based (Schedule)
  • The campaign's start date has passed, however the campaign has not been set to Active or launched yet.
  • The campaign's impressions or budget goals have been accomplished before reaching the designated end date.
Creatives
  • The status of a creative has been updated from Pending to Audited / Rejected.
    • If the creative is attached to a flight belonging to a campaign in the Setup, Running, Setup & Running state, a notification will be sent to the follower(s) of the corresponding campaign.
    • If the creative is not attached to a flight whose campaign state is Setup, Running or Setup & Running, a notification will be sent to the user who imported the creative.

If multiple alerts for different campaigns are triggered, the details related to each alert will be gathered in one email and sent within the following 6 hours. This avoids interrupting you with separate emails and is convenient for checking with one glance the campaigns that require your action.

Deactivation

If you want to stop receiving email alerts, you can choose one of the following methods:

  • Unsubscribing from email alerts for all campaigns:

    • Open one of your email alert.
    • Scroll to the bottom of this email and click on here to unsubscribe. This will remove you from the alert system for all the campaigns you followed.

  • Unsubscribing from email alerts for specific campaigns:

    • Go to the Campaign Listing page.
    • Look for the campaigns you followed (followed campaigns are associated with a star icon next to their title) then click on the Actions (three dots) button and select Unfollow. Unfollowed campaigns will be excluded from the future email alerts.

Re-Activation

If you want to re-subscribe to email alerts:

  • Go to the Campaign Listing page.
  • Unfollow the campaign, then follow it again.

Once done, you will receive email alerts related to the campaigns you have just followed.
