A Flight is a subcomponent of a Campaign that can be understood as a parent-child relationship.
If the Campaign represents your overall strategy, Flights are the tactics that you define and use to achieve the objective of their related Campaign.
Flights promote your ads through Creatives and can be paused, or scheduled to be delivered during the most marketable time windows.
For more information about Creatives, see Creatives.

IAB Categories in Flights
IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) categories are standardized classifications used in digital advertising to organize and target content. When you create a New Creative, you can use the Category dropdown menu to select the IAB category you want to target.
All Creatives attached to a flight must have the exact same Category selection. For example, if you have two Creatives and one has the IAB Category of IAB1-2 (Celebrity Fan/ Gossip) and the other had IAB1-3 (Fine Art), this would trigger the error message because these are separate IAB Categories, even though they are both options under the IAB1 (Arts & Entertainment) dropdown.
If multiple Creatives are added to a flight with different Category selections, an error message will display that reads The Creatives attached to the flight must have the same IAB category. To resolve this issue, make sure all Creatives have the same Category selected.
You can learn more about IAB Categories in the IAB Category guide.
Filters & Presets
Across the top of the flight form, you will see the following filter tools:
All | Selected | Presets |
---|---|---|
By default, All is selected to present all elements of the list. clicking Selected will filter the view in order to display only your selection (i.e. only ticked checkmarks/forbidden signs). | Selected is enabled as soon as you tick at least one checkmark/forbidden sign. clicking Selected will filter the view in order to display only your selection (i.e. only ticked checkmarks/forbidden signs). | Presets are a pre-defined list of selected elements available for all users. The floppy disk icon will be replaced by a trash icon when you select a preset. clicking the trash icon will delete the selected preset. |
