A convenient way to create a new flight is to duplicate an existing flight and change the settings according to your needs. Instead of recreating a flight from scratch, this method is a shortcut and saves you time as data from the source flight will be prepopulated.
There are several reasons why you may want to do this:
- Specifying different audiences for the flight.
- Running the flight for a different geographical area/time zone, etc.
You cannot duplicate a flight using a Programmatic Guaranteed deal.
Duplicate one Flight
- In the left panel, click Campaigns .
- On the Campaign Listing page, click the campaign’s name.
- On the Campaign Show page, scroll down to the Flights section.
- Under the Actions column, click the three dots and select Duplicate.
You will be redirected to the flight edit page in the Strategy tab. A mention “- copy” will be attached to the flight name and will be set in the Setup state. See Flight Setup to configure your new flight.
