Campaign History
The Campaign History page keeps track of the changes that have been made to set up the campaign since its creation.
It shows the dates and times of when the campaign was created, and modified
(i.e. updated) allowing users to see its progression over time. You can easily
track the changes made to the campaign, such as budget adjustments, targeting updates, and creative modifications.
This feature helps you stay organized and informed. By monitoring the campaign history, you can analyze which changes have been most effective in driving results and optimize your campaigns accordingly.
Access
There are two ways to access Campaign History.
Method 1: From Campaign Listing page:
- On the left pane, click Campaigns.
- On the Campaign Listing page, click the campaign's name.
- On the Campaign Show page, scroll down to find the History section in the campaign details.
- Click the History button to open the history drawer.
Method 2: From Campaign Setup page:
It's also possible to access the History page from the Campaign Setup page by
clicking on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner and selecting History.
Use
General History Columns
- Date & Time: This column indicates when a modification was made. Timestamps.
are displayed in the campaign's target region timezone to ensure consistency
across global teams. - Action: This column indicates the type of change that has been performed.
(Creation or Updates). Click the chevron to expand and get access to the
details. - Editor: This column indicates the user who made the change.
Enhanced Search and Filtering
Campaign history includes powerful search capabilities to help you quickly
locate specific changes.
Search Functionality
- Real-time search box at the top of the screen.
- Search across all logged fields and values.
- "Show only warnings" checkbox to filter for entries with validation warnings
or issues. - Search results update instantly as you type.
Filter Options
The Campaign History page provides multiple filter options to narrow down
history results:
- Field filter: Filter by specific form fields (e.g., "Budget", "Targeting",
"Creative"). - Editor filter: Filter by who made the changes (user names).
- Action filter: Filter by type of modification (created, updated, launched,
paused, archived, etc.).
Download Log Functionality
You can export campaign history for external analysis or record-keeping:
- Download Log button at the top of the history drawer
- Exports complete history data in CSV format
- Includes all fields, timestamps, and change details
- Maintains proper timezone formatting in exported data
Warning Integration
Expanding campaign history entries, warnings, and validation issues are
displayed in a dedicated warnings column alongside field changes. This
integration connects the history tracking with the enhanced feedback
mechanism, allowing you to see not only what changed, but also any validation
warnings that occurred during those changes. Hover over warning indicators to
see complete warning text and details.
