Article summary

Marketplace connects you to deals from a set of exchanges and publishers, including Samsung Ads.

A Deal is one of the ways through which you can obtain inventory, extending your reach.

This page allows you to browse, review and compare existing deals as well as to import your own to deliver your flight while controlling your budget.

  • Private Marketplace (PMP) refers to private auctions that are on an invitation-only basis. The publisher defines a Fixed Price or Floor Price where advertisers agree to bid in order to participate.
  • Public Deals are subjected to open bidding where each advertiser has a chance to bid and win the auction.
  • Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) Deals grant you access to exclusive offers from publishers. The publishers commit to delivering a certain amount of impressions based on a fixed price with the proviso that you agree to purchase the entire predetermined number of impressions.

  • In the left panel, click Marketplace.
This page displays all information related to deals associated with your account.

Interact with buttons

Above the table revealing Deal details, there are three buttons: All, Selected, and Batch Actions.

ButtonsDescriptionLocation
AllBy default, All is selected to present all deals available to your account. Clicking Selected will filter the view in order to display only your selection (i.e., only ticked checkboxes).
SelectedSelected is enabled as soon as you tick at least one checkbox. Clicking Selected will filter the view in order to display only your selection (i.e., only ticked checkboxes).
Batch ActionsBatch Actions is enabled as soon as you tick at least two checkboxes.

Batch Actions is useful when you need to perform the following actions on several deals at once: Archive/Restore and Compare. See Change Deal Status, and Compare Deals for more information.

The Archive/Restore options are available in the list only if the selected deals share the same state (i.e., Active/Archived represented with a green/grey dot).
CSVThe CSV button allows you to retrieve and download all deal data into one .csv file.

Tick the checkboxes of the deals you want to retrieve all the information, then click CSV.

If you don’t select a deal and click this button, this will include data of all listed deals.

Search and Filter

  • In the upper right-hand corner of the table, you can use the search box to find or filter deals based on the available values (ID, State, Deal Type, Exchange, etc.). Additionally, you can narrow down the list of deals by distinguishing between Featured Deals and regular deals (Others).

Feature Deals target exclusively TV Plus inventory (Connected TV) and are added by Samsung Ads Account Manager (i.e. Admin). If this filter is not available for you, this means that your deal list does not contain a Featured deal and/or that this feature has not been enabled for you. If you wish to add this feature, please contact your account manager, i.e. the admin.
As far as featured deals are concerned, you can further filter them to see those that have been categorized as Pre-selected or Non-Preselected. Pre-selected means that an admin has marked a deal to be automatically added to the Flight Marketplace selection based on flight targeting.
See Direct Deals in the Flight Marketplace article for more information about Featured Deals.

  • Clicking the column name will sort the content in ascending or descending order.
  • You can customize the view by clicking the column picker icon and unticking the checkbox(es) of the column(s) you want to hide.

Presets

Presets group together a collection of frequently used items.

This saves you a significant amount of time and effort, as you can quickly access all the items you need in one place.

Use presets to personalize your workflow, giving it a tailored approach and enhancing productivity along the way.

The changes you apply to the presets in the Marketplace will be automatically reflected in the presets you have previously selected in the Flight Marketplace tab.

Some considerations to take into account:

  • A preset cannot contain multiple Programmatic Guaranteed deals, as only one per flight is allowed.
  • An error will occur if you try to create a preset combining a Programmatic Guaranteed deal with another deal type.
  • Only presets for Private Marketplace (i.e., Direct Deals) can be created and managed from the Marketplace page.
  • For Open Market deals, please create and manage your presets from the Flight Marketplace page.

Create a preset

  1. Click the checkbox to select the deals you want to include in the preset.
  2. Once your selection is complete, click the Floppy Disk icon to save your preset.

Compare Deals

If you are hesitating between 2 or more deals, you can use this feature to easily compare and analyze which deal is the best fit for your campaign/flight.

  1. On the Deal Listing page, tick the checkboxes of the deals you want to compare.
  2. Click the Batch Actions drop-down list and select Compare.
  3. The details of the selected deals will be presented in a pop-up window. You can download this comparison table by clicking Download CSV in the lower right-hand corner.

You can reactivate this deal by:

  1. Clicking the three dots under the Actions column.
  2. Selecting Restore and confirming your choice by clicking on Confirm in the pop-up window.
