This page helps you integrate a YouTube video component using Google Web Designer.
Add a YouTube video component
- Go to the Components panel.
- Drag and drop a YouTube component on your creative.
- Get your video URL from YouTube.
- Click on your YouTube component.
- In the Properties panel, set the position (top & left) and the dimensions (width & height) of your YouTube component.
- Go to the Component properties section of the Properties panel and set your video properties.
Property | Description |
---|---|
Annotations | Shows YouTube annotations. |
Autoplay | None - Video doesn't start until the viewer click on play (default). Standard - The video plays automatically. Does not count as a YouTube view. Preview - The video plays in a muted state underneath a play button overlay. Intro - The video plays in a muted state without a play button overlay or any controls. Does not count as a YouTube view. Autoplay is not supported on mobile browsers. |
Controls | Autohide - The video progress bar and the player controls slide out of view a couple of seconds after the video starts playing. The controls reappear if the user interacts with the video player. None - Hides the progress bar and player controls. |
Loop | The video repeats. IAB standards allow for a maximum of 3 loops and a maximum of 30 seconds for autoplay. |
Muted | The video mutes by default. |
Name | The name of your YouTube component. |
Pause on video end | A Pause event will be counted when the video ends. |
Preview duration | Set the duration of the preview when Autoplay is set on Preview. |
Progress bar color | Progress bar can appear in red or white. |
Related | Progress bar can appear in red or white. |
Start position | Lets you set the starting position, in seconds, of the YouTube video. |
Title | Shows the title of the YouTube video. |
URL | The URL of your video on YouTube. |
