Follow the instructions in this article to learn how to create, locate and interpret interactive, real-time and extract delivery reports.
Use delivery reports to check on pacing, spend, delivery performance VCR, CTR and revenue.
There are three types of delivery reports:
- The interactive report contains delivery data for your buyer account going back up to a year ending the day prior to the report being generated and can be fully customized.
- The real-time report displays live data for a specified period and provides the option to filter the results along six pre-selected dimensions.
- The extract report is fully customizable and can either be generated immediately or scheduled for a future date and time. It does not display any data on-screen.
Follow the instructions below to create Interactive, Real-Time and Extract reports.
Interactive Report
Use the Delivery Interactive report to create a report with delivery data going back up to a year and ending the day prior to the report being generated.
The Delivery Interactive report page has three sections:
- A panel across the top of the page that displays key metrics:
- A chart that displays up to two trends based on your selections:
- A panel to select the dimensions and metrics to be included in your report.
Follow the the instructions in the Select dimensions and metrics section to get started building your report.

- Dimensions - The available dimensions can be found here. In order to generate a report, at least one dimension and one metric are required. To include a dimension in the report, click the appropriate dimension.
- Metrics - The available dimensions are listed here. At least one dimension and one metric are required to generate a report.
- Search bar (metrics/dimensions) - Searches available dimensions and metrics based on input in this field.
- Template - A template is a preset of dimensions and metrics. By selecting a template, it will select all dimensions and metrics saved in that template. To save a template, select the dimensions and metrics you want and then click on the save icon next to the template dropdown. Note that applied filters and date range are not saved in the template.
- Date Range - Date range for the delivery report. Start Date, End Date and Time Zone.
- Add filters - Filter by any of the selected dimensions.
- Search - Searches data in column for the substring input into the search field.
- Dimensions & Metrics - The dimensions and metrics selected.
- Previous/Next Page - If the records fulfilling the criteria of the report span more than a page, this lets you go back and forth between the pages.
- Select number of records per page - The report can be configured to display 10, 25, 50 (default) and 100 records per page via the dropdown menu.
- Clear Report - This clears the report of all dimensions and metrics.
- Copy & Share - This button copies the URL of the report onto your clipboard so the link can be shared. The copied URL will includes all the dimensions and metrics as well as the applied filters and date range.
- Download Report - This button downloads the report in CSV format on your computer.
Select dimensions and metrics
Select the metrics and dimensions to report on. A selected item will have a blue background and X at the right of the label. To de-select, click on the X and the label background will revert to its default grey color.
Display a description of any of the listed dimensions and metrics on the Delivery report screen by hovering your mouse over the item in the list.
Available Metrics
PERFORMANCE
Average Progress: Average progress for Video creatives that shows on average how far the video creative is allowed to play before being closed/stopped. This is based on the exact percentage, not the percentiles.
Billable Impressions: Impressions for billing
Billable Revenue: Revenue calculated for billing
Clicks: A click event is counted when a user clicks on the ad/creative.
CTR: Click Through Rate – this is the number of Clicks events over the number of overall Impressions expressed as a percentage.
Impressions: An Impression is counted when the ad is initially loaded. In the case of video ads, it is not necessary for the video creative to play for an impression to be counted.
Revenue: Revenue from a conversion
Revenue CTR: Conversion revenue Click-Through Rate. The click through rate for post click conversion
Revenue VTR: Conversion revenue View-Through Rate - Revenue from post view conversions.
Trackable %: This is the percentage of trackable impressions (by MOAT) over the total impressions.
Trackable Impressions: a measure of the number of impressions that can be tracked by MOAT. This includes both viewable and non-viewable impressions
Unique Users Approx.: Unique users (approximately) as % of browser calls
Viewable %: The number of viewable impressions over the measurable impressions as determined by MOAT. This value is expressed as a percentage.
Viewable Impressions: The number of impressions that are rendered, such that they can be viewed by a user. This data is provided by MOAT.
EXPENSE
AdServing Fees: Ad serving fees will only appear in Samsung DSP reports if the campaign is serving enhanced display creatives or video creatives.
Advertiser CPA: Cost per acquisition/conversion for this advertiser - advertiser spend / Conv. view Through.
Advertiser CPC: Cost per click for this advertiser
Advertiser CPCA: Cost per post-click acquisition/conversion for this advertiser. per post-click acquisition = Conv. Click Through.
Advertiser CPM: Cost per mille (thousand impressions) for this advertiser
Advertiser Spend: The advertiser spend report reflects the marked up price only in case of CPI of the flight for the advertiser.
Buyer CPA: Cost per acquisition/conversion for this buyer - acquisition and conversion are the same thing.
Buyer CPC: Cost per click for this buyer
Buyer CPCA: Post-click cost per action for this buyer. This is calculated as buyer_spend / conversion_postclick
Buyer CPCV: Cost per completed views for this buyer (spend/how many people actually watch the whole creative).
Buyer CPM: Cost per mille (thousand impressions) for this buyer
Buyer Margin %: Buyer spend / advertiser spend
Buyer Spend: Buyer spend includes the media spend plus all the fees which are incurred by the campaigns. The buyer spend is a sum of the media fees plus the data fees, ad serving fees and Samsung DSP fees. The buyer spend reflects your actual cost of a campaign to the agency.
Data Fees: Data fees are a sum of all the data which are being used by the campaigns. They will include MOAT Viewability tracking, any and all IAS brand safety, viewability filtering, suspicious activity filtering and context attributes and any Lotame audiences which are being leveraged by the campaigns.
Media CPA: Cost per acquisition/conversion for this media
Media CPC: Cost per click for this media
Media CPCA: Cost per post-click acquisition/conversion for this media.
Media CPCV: Cost per completed views for this media
Media CPM: Cost per mille (thousand impressions) for this media
Media Spend: The raw cost of the media without the data, ad serving and Samsung DSP fees included.
Trader Fees: Samsung DSP fees are the platform usage fees outlined in your contract.
ATTRIBUTION
Conv. Click Through: Conversion Click Through (attributed to a click). The count of conversions attributed to a click.
Conv. View Through: Conversion View Through (attributed to an impression) The count of conversions attributed to an impression.
Conversions: Number of times a conversion event was triggered and can be attributed to a valid impression or click event for this campaign/flight/creative.
Conversions CTR: Percentage of Conv. Click Through / Clicks
Conversions VTR: Percentage of Conv. View Through / Impressions
First App Open Count
Spend to Revenue Ratio: Buyer Spend / Conversion Revenue
Total Time Spent (in mins)

Unmuted: Video being Unmuted
Video Clicks: Video that was clicked
Video Errors: Error in video loading
View-through Rate: View through rate (video_complete / impressions)

Once at least one dimension and metric have been selected, the report is auto-generated and displayed in the main table of the Interactive Report page.
Add a date range (Optional)
Clicking on the Date Range will open the Date Picker control. Use the date picker control to select a date range of the last 7 days, last month, last 30 days or last 90 days as well as a custom range and time zone. The custom range can go back up to a year from the current date.
By default, the date range consists of the last 7 full days of data ending with the date preceding the current day.
Click Apply to complete the selection of the date range.
Filter the results
The Add filters bar is located just under the Template selector. One or more filter(s) can be selected to refine the results of the combination of metrics and dimensions selected earlier without having to select or unselect dimensions. Once a filter is selected, only data relevant to that filter will be displayed.
- Data must be filtered on an insertion order ID or a single advertiser in order to unlock 3P data. This is to prevent mixing data from different time zones.
- If data is filtered by time zone, the selected time zone must match that of the 3P data as defined in the advertiser settings.

To select a filter for a report with selected metrics and dimensions:
- Click in the Add Filters text field. A drop-down list will appear showing the available filters. Dimensions you have already selected will be displayed at the top of the drop-down list.
- Click on a filter in the drop-down list. The drop-down panel will display the possible values that can be selected for the filter.
- Select the value you want to apply for the filter. The data will refresh and be updated to reflect the filters you have applied.
Templates
A template saves the metrics and dimensions used to generate a report. Note that the date range and filters will not be saved as part of the template. Templates exist within the scope of your account.
Create a template
- Create a template by clicking Save. This will create a template consisting of the metrics and dimensions selected.
- Enter a name for the template in the modal. Then click Confirm to save. Once the template has been saved, the Save button will then be replaced by the delete button.
Delete a template
If a template is selected, there will be a delete option next to the template dropdown menu. Click delete to delete the template and click confirm to delete the selected template.
Download the Report
Once you have selected the data to include and the date range, click Download Report to download your delivery report in comma-separated values (CSV) format. You can then import data from the report into a spreadsheet or database for analysis.
Real-Time Report
The Delivery real-time report displays live data and provides the options to filter the results using six dimensions.
- Click the Reports icon on the left-hand menu. The reports' submenu will be displayed.
- Locate the Real-time reports section. Select Delivery.
- The Delivery - real-time report screen will be displayed:

Extract report
The Delivery extract report is similar to the Interactive report but offers some additional flexibility with the date report range. The Delivery extract report must be scheduled. Data is not displayed on the screen.
Create a new report
- Click the Reports icon on the left-hand menu. The reports' submenu will be displayed.
- Locate the Extract section. Select Delivery.
- Click +New Report in the top right corner of the page. Select Delivery.
The Delivery report screen will be displayed:
The screen has two panels: Report settings and Dimensions and metrics. Follow the instructions below to complete the panels and generate a report.
Report settings
Complete the fields on the report settings panel:
- Report name: Report name is generated by DSP. As you will have to find this report among a potentially large list, it is recommended that you use a name you can easily recognize.
- Time zone: The report date range will reflect the time zone selected. Select a different time zone from the drop-down menu if needed.
- Report Date Range: There are two ways to select a study period for your report, either by selecting a predefined option for by specifying a custom option:
- Predefined: Select a pre-defined option in the drop down menu
- Campaign to date
- Today
- Yesterday
- Week-to-date
- Month-to-date
- Quarter-to-date
- Year-to-date
- Previous week
- Previous month
- Previous quarter
- Custom: Select a custom option from the dropdown menu and then complete the fields that are displayed:
- Start date - end date
- Start date - today
- Last x days
- Last x weeks
- Last x months
- Predefined: Select a pre-defined option in the drop down menu
Report Time Range will generate the report from the delivery start date to yesterday. It is meant to be used when reporting by Insertion Order, Line Item, Campaign or Campaign group. Therefore, a filter on at least one of these dimensions is required to use this Date Range.
- Schedule: Select when you want to schedule your report from the schedule drop down menu. Complete the day and start and end date fields if required.
- Email: Enter one or more comma-separated (with a space after the comma), email addresses to which the report will be sent.
- Webhook: Enter one or more comma-separated webhook URL(s) to which the report will be sent using an HTTP POST request.
Dimensions and metrics
Select the metrics and dimensions to report on. A selected item will have a blue background and an "x" to the right of the label. To de-select an item, click on the "x".

To select a filter for a report with selected dimensions and metrics:
- Click in the Add filters text filed. A drop-down menu will be displayed with the available filters. Dimensions that you have already selected will be displayed at the top of the list.

- Select the value to use for the filter. The list of results will be updated based on the selected filter.
Templates
Save the dimensions and metrics you selected for your report in a template for future use. Note that date range and filters are not saved as a part of the template.
Create a template
Follow the instructions below to create a template. Note that you can create and save multiple templates.
- Click Save to save the dimensions and metrics selected on the Dimensions and Metrics panel.
- The Save template window will be displayed. Enter a template name in the template name field.
- Click Confirm to save the template. The template will be added to the drop-down menu.
Delete a template
Follow the instructions below to delete a template.
- Select the template to be deleted from the template drop down menu.
- Click delete.
- The Delete template window will be displayed. Click confirm to delete the selected template.
Schedule your report
When a minimum of one dimension and metric have been selected, or a template applied, you will be able to submit your report to be generated. Review your selections and click Schedule on the bottom right.
A message will appear confirming that your request has been submitted.
Your report will appear on the Extract screen with a status of processing.
Download your report
Download your report to your device after it has finished processing. Your report status must be completed in order to download it.
- Locate your report on the Extract screen. You can scroll or use the filter field to search for it.
- Under the actions column, click the three dots. The action submenu will be displayed.
- Select download.
Your report will download to your device in .csv format. The contents of your report will reflect the study period, metrics, and dimensions you selected during report creation.
To download your report in .tsv or xlsx format, click on the report name. The Report information screen will be displayed.
Click on either .tsv or .xlsx on the right side of the screen. Your report will download as requested.
Reports can have one of three statuses:
Processing Indicates that the report is currently being generated. Reports with this status can be duplicated. They cannot be downloaded until processing is complete.
Completed: Indicates that the report has successfully finished processing. Reports with this status can be duplicated, downloaded or deleted.
Error: Indicates that report processing has failed. Click on the report name to view the report information screen. The error message(s) will be displayed along with suggested follow-up actions.
Share a report
Reports that are completed can be shared with others, including those without DSP accounts.
To share a report:
- Locate the report on the Reports tab by scrolling or using the filter.
- Click on the report name. The Report Information screen will be displayed.
- Click Copy Link to Clipboard. The URL for this report will be copied to your clipboard and can be shared with others.
The URL provides access to the Report Information screen exclusively for that report. Users can download the report in .tsv, .csv or .xlsx formats and view the delivery data on their device.
Edit a scheduled report
Reports that have not yet been generated and are scheduled to run can be edited.
To edit a scheduled report:
- Click on the Schedules tab on the report listings screen.
- Locate the report you would like to edit by scrolling or using the filter.
- Click the three dots in the actions column to display the actions drop down menu:
- Select Edit. The Delivery Report screen will be displayed.
- Update the report settings, dimensions, and metrics as needed. Click Save to apply your changes.
