Overview
The Samsung TV Info tab provides insights about reach by TV model year, TV size, TV Chipset and Connected Devices.
Learn about how to interpret each section below:
By default, the tables and charts display data for the target audience. Select the Compare Audiences toggle to display the data for both the target audience and comparison audience.
TV Model Year
The TV Model Year tab provides audience insights based on TV model year. Data for TV models from 2015 to the present is included on this tab.
- Reach by TV Model Year: This chart captures the percentage breakdown of the audience by Samsung TV model year. For example, the 2020 model year has a percentage audience composition of 25% which this means that 25% of TV households have 2020 TVs.
- Reach Index by TV Model Year: This chart provides insights about the TV model years likely to reached by audience compared to the Samsung Universe. The reach index by the TV Model year is the statistical average of the specific TV Model Years audience reach compared with the Samsung Universe. The reach index for the Samsung Universe is benchmarked as 100. For example, if the 2020 TV model year has a reach index of 150, this means that the TV households in the target audience who have 2020 TVs are 50% more likely than the TV households in the Samsung Universe with 2020 TVs.
- TV Model Year Composition: This table breaks down audience composition across different Samsung TV model years.
TV Size
The TV Size tab provides audience insights based on TV size. TV size data is included for TV models from 2015 to the present.
TVs are grouped in the following sizes:
less than 50 inches
50 to 60 inches
60 to 80 inches
larger than 80 inches
Reach By TV Screen Size: This chart captures the percentage breakdown of the audience by Samsung TV Size. For example, in the illustration below, 35% of the target audience have a TV screen size that is 50-60 inches.
- Reach Index By TV Screen Size: This chart provides insight about the TV screen size most likely to associated with the audience compared to the Samsung Universe. The reach index by TV screen size is the statistical average of the specific TV screen size's audience reach compared with the Samsung Universe. The reach index for Samsung Universe is benchmarked as 100. For example, if the 50-60" TV screen size has a reach index of 150, this means that the TV households in the audience who have TV screen size of 50-60" are 50% more likely than the TV households with TV screen size of 50-60" in the Samsung Universe.
- TV Screen Size Composition: This table breaks down audience composition across different Samsung TV screen sizes.
TV Chipset
The TV Chipset tab provides audience insights based on Chipset type. Data is included for TV models from 2015 to the present.
Chipsets are categorized into two groups: Premium and Non-premium.
- Reach By TV Chipset Type: This chart captures the percentage breakdown of the audience by chipset type. For example, in the illustration below, 33% of the target audience has non-premium chipsets while 67% have premium chipsets.
- Reach Index By TV Chipset Type: This chart provides insight about the TV Chipset type most likely to be associated with the target audience compared to the Samsung Universe. The reach index by the TV chipset type is the statistical average of the specific TV chipset type audience reach compared with the Samsung universe. The reach index for Samsung universe is benchmarked as 100. For example, suppose the premium chipset type have a reach index of 150, this means that the TV households in the audience who have Chipset type = premium are 50% more likely than the TV households with Chipset type = premium in the Samsung Universe.

Connected Devices
The Connected Devices tab provides audience insights based on connected devices. Connected devices include set-top boxes, game console, etc. Data is included for TV models from 2015 to the present.
- Reach By TV's Connected devices: This chart captures the percentage breakdown of the audience by connected devices. For example, in the illustration below, 20% of the target audience has a set-top box vs. 23% of the comparison audience.
- Reach Index By TV's Connected Devices: This chart provides insight about TV's connected devices most likely to associated with the audience compared to Samsung Universe. The reach index by the TV's connected device is the statistical average of the specific TV connected device's audience reach compared with the Samsung Universe. The reach index for Samsung Universe is benchmarked as 100. For example, if the TV connected device for set-top box has a reach index of 150, this means that the TV households in the audience who have TV connected device as set-top box are 50% more likely than the TV households with TV connected device as set-top box in the Samsung Universe.
