Thank you for your feedback
You can find Samsung specific setup guide here.
- You can also find a step-by-step guide for how to configure any partner in Singular here.
- You can also find Singular partner configuration FAQ here.
Step 1: Enable Samsung Ads on Singular MMP
- In the Singular web app, go to Attribution > Partner Configuration.
- Start typing the Samsung Ads in the Search Partners text box and select it from the list.
In general, there’s no need for special configuration other than setting up the following:
- Setting the App and Site
- Enabling view-through attributions - this is optional
- Enabling fraud postback - this is optional
- Enabling postbacks on all installs - this is optional
- Send event postbacks on all installs - this is required! Make sure to enable this option.
Step 2: Configuring the in-app events to be reported on
The advertiser can set up any custom event to be triggered as long as it was enabled in the Singular SDK.
Ideally, the advertiser should enable the following in-app event postbacks (see details in the screenshot below):
- App open (if enabled by the SDK)
- App login (if enabled by the SDK)
- In-app purchase events
- Uninstall
For in-app purchase events, make sure to select “Send revenue” option.
Singular’s UI may not reflect the actual event name/values that will be passed from the app/SDK to Singular and then to Samsung DSP. Make sure to get those values from the client, so we could properly map the event names in Samsung DSP (see Part 2: Setup in Samsung DSP).
Step 3: Tracking Link Setup
To generate a tracking link for Samsung Ads:
- In your Singular account, go to Attribution > Manage Links and click Create Link.
- Under Source Name, select Samsung Ads.
- Configure the link by selecting the desired app site and redirect options (see the Singular Links FAQ for help).
If you want to use the link for retargeting campaigns (re-engagement), expand the Attribution Settings section and select Enable re-engagement tracking.
- Click Generate.
- You can now see and copy the click-through and view-through link with Samsung Ads-supported macros to use with Samsung Ads.
