What do linear, streaming and gaming mean?
Linear: Refers to any content watched via any HDMI connected devices like STB etc Streaming : Refers to any content watched on Samsung Smarthub’s native apps like Netflix, Prime video, TVPlus etc Gaming : Refers to any games played on HDMI contented Game consoles like Xbox, PS3, PS4 etcWhy don't we have time spent for gaming?
Samsung’s gaming data currently doesn't have time spent calculated due to dynamic nature of the games. We only can identify the gamers who played a specific game.Is the weekday / daypart engagement specific to TVs timezone?
Yes it is specific to TVs timezone. If a tv is based in New York the definition of days of week or dayparts are based on EST.Why don't % of audience reached add up to 100?
% of audience reached provides input about what % of audience were reached on Linear or streaming or gaming. The TV audience can be watching both linear and streaming, in this case they contribute to both.What do heavy, medium, light, non- linear and non-streamer mean?
Heavy, medium and light is defined using Samsung universe content consumption during the study period chosen. The universe is broken into 3 buckets for given content consumption and users with top 33% are tagged as heavy, second 33% as light and last 33% light Using the time spent of these buckets as benchmark, audience content consumption buckets are defined HML Anyone who has not watched any linear content is called non-linear Anyone who has not watched any streaming content is called non- StreamerWas this article helpful?
